Janet Sue Meadows, 63, of Willow Hill, Illinois went to join the Lord from her home on October 11, 2012, after an unsuccessful fight against cancer. She was born on March 20, 1949, to Orville & Dorothy (Robins) Milliman of West Liberty, Illinois.
Janet was a bus / van driver for the Oblong School District for 25 years and enjoyed horseback riding, camping, gardening and spending time with her family.
On February 10, 1968, she married Jeffrey Meadows of Willow Hill, Illinois at the West Liberty United Methodist Church in West Liberty, Illinois.
Janet is survived by her parents, Orville & DorothyMilliman; husband Jeffrey Meadows; her children, Tim Meadows, Kenneth & Deniese Meadows and Chanda Budds; her grandchildren, Dylan Meadows, MeKenna Meadows, Callie Meadows and Coltyn Meadows; seven brothers and sisters, Sharon & Bob Saunders, Dale & Christene Milliman, Beverly & Howard Tanner, Sandra & Larry Goebel, Nancy & Tom Tarr, Nick & Jody Milliman and Richard & Terry Milliman along with several nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her brother Orville Ray Milliman; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norman & Glendean Meadows and one sister-in-law, Donna Colleen Meadows.
Bro Rick Catt and Nick Milliman will officiate the funeral service. Burial will be in the Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois.
